Pudge and Centaur will be taking part in the 55th Annual Blackwater Barge Match & Smack Race on Saturday 11 June – a racing event for traditional vessels, with barges and smacks coming from all over the East Coast to take part.
Match will start and finish on a line from Osea Island. Start is at around 7:30am
We expect barges will arrive at Maldon Quay after 4:00 pm. The prize-giving takes place in the Queen’s Head, Maldon at 7pm.
