Come for a Sail
The whole reason we want to preserve the Barges: to give you the chance to experience sailing a Barge. Enjoy your trip in the knowledge that you are helping to ensure the future survival of the Thames Barge.
Lend us a Hand
Members and non-members generously volunteer their time and skills to crew, maintain, teach, supply, sell, publicise and administer, to mention just a few things. Would you like to learn how to assist with our winter maintenance or be a part of our Pudge restoration project? Might you be a future Crew Member, Secretary or Newsletter Editor? Talk to us to find out more.
Make a Donation
Donate the easy way with a credit or debit card via the Internet at
This method is easy and secure for you and it reduces the administration required on our part.
Alternatively, donations can be made at any time by sending a cheque made payable to 'Thames Sailing Barge Trust' to our Chairman. Write your postcode on the back so we can claim the tax back under the 'Gift-Aid' scheme, helping us maximise your donation.
Purchase some Trust merchandise
Pictures coming soon of our merchandise, including caps, various t-shirts, sweatshirts and jackets, ties, books and mugs. Available via our Sales Officer.
Book a Talk
Are you a member of a club or society that might enjoy an illustrated talk about Thames Barges? Contact our Chairman to see if we can assist.
Mention us to your Friends
The more people know about our work, the better! The Barges will only continue to operate with your ongoing support.
